I'm fundraising for Pegasus 50 for 50 years campaign
I'm proud to be supporting Pegasus 50 for 50 campagin and helping make a difference for a cause that matters.
For 50 years, Pegasus has provided life-changing equine therapy to children and young adults with disabilities in the ACT. The unique rhythm of a horse’s stride isn't just a ride, it acts as physical therapy, building core strength, motor skills, confidence, and pure joy.
I have been a volunteer coach and donor to Pegasus for 12 years. During that time I have coached and supported a great many our young participants who live with a range of disability, helping them to engage in truly meaningful recreational and social activity while developing their skills and abilities.
It is very rare for me to get involved with fundraising in this manner, but I know so well the difference that our programs make in our young participants lives. I therefore have to be a part of encouraging everyone to support this effort so that Pegasus can continue to support our community.
